G Gambhir of Delhi and SR Tendulkar of Mumbai aggregated 1000 IPL runs in their match against Mohali and Jaipur respectively on 11.04.10.
Gambhir's aggregate stood at 1019 runs at the end of the match against Mohali on 11.04.10. He reached the milestone when he was on seven during the course of his knock of 26.
SR Tendulkar completed 1000 runs when he was on 25 during his knock of 89 not out. At the end of the game, his aggregate stood at 1064.
G Gambhir became the sixth batsman to achieve the landmark, while SR Tendulkar became the seventh batsman to total 1000 IPL runs. The other five batsmen are - AC Gilchrist of Hyderabad (1182), SK Raina of Chennai (1177), ML Hayden of Chennai (1076), JH Kallis of Bangalore (1061) and RG Sharma of Hyderabad (1038).
